Celebrated children's author Edith Nesbit (The Railway Children, Five Children & It) retreats to her attic writing room during one of her husband's tiresome parties with her housekeeper and an unexpected, handsome party guest. As midnight swiftly approaches, Edith gives a reading of her work. Not one of her cherished children's tales, but her terrifying early horror stories.

In a remote part of the UK, where nothing ever happens, a group of teenagers share a safe house for LGBT+ young people.

While their shared home welcomes difference, it can be tricky for self-appointed group leader, Birdie, to keep the peace. The group must decide how they want to commemorate an attack that happened to LGBT+ people in a country far away.

How do you take to the streets and protest if you’re not ready to tell the world who you are?

If you’re invisible, does your voice still count?

A play about love, protest, and commemoration.

Whilst waiting to hear back from her latest audition, jobbing actor Donna Knight catches up with professional drag artist, friend and flatmate, Bella de Balle over several glasses of wine.

Putting the world to rights is all good fun until an unexpected guest arrives and sets in motion a string of events that will change the course of the evening… dramatically.

A brilliant, original play by Boaty Youth Theatre Member and Young Writer, Emily Sheriff.

Tethered explores all the little things that bind us and the things that set us apart in this world.  Follow the paths of a number of characters who appear to have little in common at first, but are in fact inexorably tethered to one another.
