October 1945.   

George returns home from service; not only battling with the emotional backlash of war, but he is also coming to terms with the impact that his injuries will have on his home life.

Anna has prepared for her husbands return, but doesn’t quite know what to expect; will he seem like a stranger? Will he even recognise her?   

As the evening goes on, their relationship is tested as they each rely on memory to return to some kind of normal.   

It turns out that memory isn’t always the most reliable resource...
