About the Event

Innocent Creatures By Leo Butler

Soon, very soon, Big Ben will be underwater surrounded by ice floes – which is where we meet Enid and Mia as they wait to be rescued by the robots in helicopters who will take them to the Holiday Inn to be re-programmed… Fast forward a few thousand years where Enid and Mia meet again, just as the scorching hot sun is about to set one final, beautiful time. A thought-provoking experience set in the future – both imminent and far away. Join us on this adventure before the world ends.

Connections is the National Theatre’s nationwide youth theatre festival. Every year, it gives youth groups the opportunity to stage new plays written for young people.
